Prior to joining First Data, she spent 5 years working at K2 Intelligence, a specialized industry-leading investigative, compliance, and cyber defense services firm. In less than two years, Rusin has contributed to more than $100 million in loss mitigation — or funds that didn’t wind up in the crooks’ hands or floating around places like the Dark Web — while providing a strong hand to support continuity and a network that processes more than 12,000 transactions per second. She was honored by @payments_source in 2021 as one of the Influential Women in Payments, Next.

Mr. Appel has consulted in Tax Incentives and Government Grants for 8 years and have been exposed to a range of client industries including biotechnology, biopharma, manufacturing, engineering and IT. He currently work in-house as the Incentives lead for a listed multinational horticulturalist. “I enjoy working with business to coordinate applications for Government incentives and gain access to funding to help commercialize and scale their IP.”
